About the Wellness Center

The Wellness Center at Windsor Unified School District is located in M106 of the Windsor High School campus.  It is here to serve students of the Windsor High School, Windsor Oaks Academy, Big Picture Learning, and Sonoma County Virtual Academy.  The Wellness Center services include services to support the mental, physical, and sexual health and well-being of Windsor secondary students.

Our Goals

  • Students have the place they need to reset and return to class as the best versions of themselves

  • Students become of aware of and are provided to access to services for their physical, mental, and sexual health

  • Students develop self-care and coping skills to deal with stressors inside and outside of educational settings

  • Students can form a greater attachment to the school community

  • Students can gain more well-rounded development, be empowered and advocate for themselves, and be involved in leadership opportunities

  • Teachers, parents, and community members can form awareness, become educated about, and support wellness and wellness programs for our students

Trevor Johnson-Wellness Outreach Specialist

Trevor is back with Windsor Unified School District.  In previous years, he served as the College and Career Assistant (2018-2019) and WorkAbility I Coordinator (2019-2022).  As Wellness Outreach Specialist, he serves as the first point of contact for the Wellness Center.  Trevor helps greet and triage students so they can gain the support they need, facilitates the Wellness Youth Council and Advisory Committee meetings for student and community support of the Wellness Center, and helps serve as a bridge to the Wellness Center with the secondary school options of WUSD, the Child Parent Insititute, and other stakeholders and community resources.
